The Italian Way

Where food is life

Italian families have relied on the well-made versatility and accuracy of La Germania cookers for over a century. They are made by the Bertazzoni family company in Emilia-Romagna, one of the great culinary regions of the world. Here the talk is of food, of special menus and recipes passed down through generations.

Perfected over generations

The Bertazzonis started to make wood-burning cooking stoves over a hundred years ago. The first factory was built in 1909, followed by the new brand name, La Germania. Gas hobs and stoves were introduced in 1950s. Through the next decades sales boomed and today La Germania cookers are appreciated in 60 countries around the world.

Cookers for the home

La Germania appliances are designed for people who care about cooking. They combine performance and function with different styles for different tastes. These are cookers to be trusted - well engineered with rugged and lasting construction, and designed for all the demands of the modern home.

More convenience, more performance

There are La Germania models that feature multi-function ovens with built-in grill, combination cooking and closed-door grilling. There are hobs incorporating sensitive triple-ring burners that give precise heat, from simmering to full power. Versatile and matching accessories include back splashes and cooker hoods.

Fan-assisted gas ovens give even cooking results on all shelves. Food is quickly sealed, and different dishes, such as baking and crispy roasting, can be cooked at the same time. La Germania is the first to introduce this feature across a full range of cookers.
